 NEWS FROM Steyning Photo Books

Autumn 2004

We have just returned from Germany, attending both Photokina and Frankfurt Book Fair. This was an ideal opportunity to meet customers from all over the world.

The NEW Leica Collector's Guide, 2nd Edition, will be in the warehouse by 6th November.

We are very pleased to be able to add the NEW Günter Osterloh "50 Years of Leica M" to our list. Full details of this excellent title can be found in our main price list and Latest Title section. Bulk stock will be in the warehouse by the end of October.

We have added a selection of the more popular Amphoto titles to our list, as well as a range of digital camera books. A full list of these titles can, on request, be e-mailed to you as PDF files, or sent by post. In all, a total of 33 titles are being added to our list of more general photographic interest.

Advance information on the 2nd Edition of the Nikon Rangefinder Compendium, which will be available in the spring of 2005: Robert Rotolini has been working on the 2nd Edition for some time, with virtually all new illustrations. So much more information has come to light, due to continuing research, that the 2nd Edition will have to be our Compendium size; the extent could be as much as 400 pages! We will also have some 24 pages of superb colour pictures by Tony Hurst. This, with the Nikon Compendium in print, will make an ideal combination. Ron had some sections of the new book with him at Photokina, which whetted the appetite of the Nikon enthusiasts.

The Leica M7 book has been delayed, but should be available towards the year's end.
